California’s Investment in EV Charging Infrastructure
California has decided not to replace the federal EV tax credits that expired in September. Governor Gavin Newsom stated, “We can’t compensate for the federal rollback of those tax credits,” during a press event in San Francisco.
However, the state has introduced the Charge California Project, dedicating $55 million to enhance charging infrastructure, with a focus on low-income, tribal, and underserved areas.
Hyundai’s Potential Game-Changing Supercar
Hyundai’s luxury division, Genesis, inadvertently revealed plans for a 1,000-horsepower supercar under its Magma brand during a Hyundai Investor Day. If realized, this vehicle would compete with the likes of Porsche’s Taycan Turbo GT and Lucid’s Air Sapphire.
