Welcome to the Future: CES 2026 Unveiled

As we step into 2026, it’s time to shake off the New Year’s celebrations and gear up for the tech industry’s most anticipated event, CES, set to begin on January 6 in the vibrant city of Las Vegas.

The iconic Strip and the Las Vegas Convention Center will be buzzing with companies showcasing their latest innovations, alongside some experimental products that might not make it to market.

Pre-Show Excitement and Keynote Highlights

Although the official start is January 6, the excitement kicks off earlier with events like CES Unveiled and press briefings from industry leaders such as Nvidia’s Jensen Huang and AMD’s Lisa Su. Expect artificial intelligence to dominate discussions this year.

From AI-driven PCs to cutting-edge chips, the spotlight is set to shine brightly on robotics in 2026.

Robotics: The Star of the Show

“Every year, CES has a theme that emerges as the event unfolds,” says Kinsey Fabrizio, president of the Consumer Technology Association. “This year, robotics will be a major focus.”

Chipmakers in the Spotlight

CES has become a competitive arena for chipmakers to showcase their innovations alongside their fiercest competitors.

Last year, Nvidia captured attention with a keynote at the Michelob Ultra Arena, unveiling new gaming chips, an AI desktop rig, and a suite of AI software solutions.

Upcoming Announcements

This year, Nvidia, with a market cap of $4.5 trillion at the end of 2025, is expected to reveal new gaming technologies and AI applications. Huang’s keynote is scheduled for January 5 at 1:00 p.m. PT.

Later, AMD’s Lisa Su will present her keynote at 6:30 p.m. PT, offering a counterpoint to Nvidia’s announcements and updates on AMD’s gaming and AI advancements.

Intel’s Strategic Moves

Jim Johnson, Senior VP and GM of Intel’s Client Computing Group, will also deliver a keynote at CES 2026, focusing on Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3, known as Panther Lake, which features the company’s groundbreaking 18A chip technology.

These processors, first introduced in October, are pivotal to Intel’s strategic turnaround.
